There’s lots of ways to raise money. But selling a 15-year-old runaway shouldn’t be one of them.
The girl, from Davie, was living in Miami when a man offered her a ride, reports orlandosentinel.com.
The teen said Price Barthelus, 28, abducted her and drove her to Orlando, along with other women. He dropped them off at a 7-11 and told the teen to work as a prostitute, saying she owed him money for the ride.
He told the other women to watch the girl, and the teen how to find customers and what to charge for sex acts. Barthelus gave the girl a cell phone and told her to call him when she was done.
