Each person they knew told another person, who told another person. Their raffle grew to include Miami Dolphins season tickets, helicopter rides and a weeklong cruise. Several Miami Dolphins signed autographs. Bounce houses and entertainment were donated.
“People are calling us and saying ‘Where do I send the check?’” Tanner said a few days before the event. “I think everyone wants to help.”
They raised about $50,000, organizers said. It will be added to the bevy of donations from across South Florida that already totals $130,000.
Of that amount, about $8,500 has gone to the Jackson Memorial Foundation to be applied to Brewer’s medical bills. The rest has gone to Neighbors4Neighbors, with the money directed to Brewer’s family. The money has come from groups ranging from local schoolchildren to strip clubs.

Rodriguez’s wife, Michelle, stood next to her sister-in-law, Margie Tores, as she spoke out on behalf of the family.
“This has been the biggest impact in our lives right now. This was a family man. A good man. A caring man. A generous man that two monsters decided to destroy our lives,” Tores said, according to WSVN.com.
“They destroyed five children’s lives, his wife’s life. I urge you and anyone that knows anything to please come forward, let the police do their job. Come forward because these monsters have destroyed our lives.”
Police said a car approached the SUV carrying Rodriguez and Suarez before the car’s driver opened fire and fled the scene.
The shooting might have been related to a fight that Rodriguez was involved in at a local strip club, according to police. Surveillance video provided by the club shows a person of interest, WSVN.com reported.

Police said another car approached the SUV that Rodriguez and Suarez sat in and opened fire and then fled the scene. According to police, this may have something to do with an altercation Rodriguez became involved in at a Hialeah strip club called PT’s. Surveillance video provided by the club shows a person of interest.

Published by sexymom under Miami adult entertainment

MIAMI The office of Mayor Manny Diaz smelled of fresh paint and departure. He had only a few hours left before term limits pushed him out, but when the city’s planning director mentioned a development by a large Spanish bank, the mayor’s eyes lit up.
“I’d love to see it,” Mr. Diaz said. “Will you call me?”
It was a telling exchange for a mayor who oversaw one of Miami’s most extensive physical transformations. The city he served for eight years now has cafes where prostitutes used to strut. There are more trees and art offerings, too, but mostly there are buildings. More than 100 million square feet of residential and commercial space has been added since 2001 mostly towers and not just downtown, but also across neighborhoods with one-story homes.
