Thesmokinggun.com reveals federal records that confirm denied allegations of Danielle Staubs past.
The first part of The Real Housewives of New Jerseys reunion show aired Tuesday night on Bravo and previews for Thursday nights second half hint that things will become more heated when the discussion moves to housewife Danielle Staubs past. Thesmokinggun.com revealed more details Tuesday of the housewifes past that were pulled from federal archived documents.
Much of the shows drama has centered on the book, Cop Without a Badge, written by Staubs ex-husband, Kevin Maher, who served as an FBI informant. She told People in a recent interview that despite what the book says, she never had a cocaine problem and was never a prostitute.

Danielle Staub Sex Tape Release: Blocked!
Score one for Danielle Staub.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has temporarily stopped her ex-boyfriend Steve Zalewski from releasing a sex tape he supposedly has of them.
Wednesday, a judge ordered an injunction banning the release of sexually explicit footage featuring the troubled Staub, 46, and the shady Zalewski, 27.
Her attorney, Darren Del Sardo, said in a statement:
“We went to court in order to prohibit distribution of any tape or photograph and to temporarily restrain him from doing that, and we were successful.”
The Danielle Staub sex tape was completely “unauthorized” and was “taken with his cellphone,” according to the embattled prostitution whore.
HIT HOUSEWIVES: Bravo’s latest band of rich nut jobs has hit the big time as Danielle and the wives make the cover of Jon and Kate Gosselin Weekly … er, Us Weekly.

… Yup, I had a name change. Yup, I was a different person,” Straub told the mag. “Yup, I’m a great mom.”
Danielle doesn’t want any criticism either.
“Don’t judge me. There’s only one person that can judge anybody,” she spewed to Us Weekly. “In spirit and in life, we are all equal. There is only one higher power.”
Earlier this week, The Smoking Gun Web site published 26 pages of federal court documents that detail Staub’s crime-ridden past.
The papers show the 46-year-old Staub – then known as Beverly Ann Merrill (she also had an alias: Angela Minelli) – “was arrested by FBI agents in June 1986 for her role in a kidnapping plot that grew out of a cocaine deal gone bad.” Her cohort was one Daniel Aguilar, who she met while working for an escort service.

SAN FRANCISCO — Danielle Staub has been left in the cold after shocking new revelations about her past. On the reality show, Jacqueline Laurita was the only one of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” to stick up for her pal — even though it meant confronting her “thick-as-thieves” sisters-in-law, Dina and Caroline Manzo. But now Jacqueline tells Us magazine she’s cut her totally out of her life.
“I am not friends with Danielle,” Jacqueline declared to the tabloid.
No surprise, considering that court records revealed online Tuesday detail that the ostracized Housewife — then going by the pseudonym “Angela” — was arrested in 1986 by FBI agents for her (er, alleged) role in a kidnapping and a drug ring. The papers also mention her history with an “escort service.”

… We went to court today to prohibit the distribution of any tape or photograph and temporarily restrain him from doing that, and we were successful,” her attorney Darren Del Sardo tells Usmagazine.com.
In the new Us Weekly (on newsstands now), Staub says the tape was “unauthorized and it was taken with his cellphone.”
Staub – who was present at court Wednesday – has filed a lawsuit against Zalewski, claiming that he is trying to get back at her and her two daughters after she dumped him last year.
Staub is accusing him invasion of privacy, defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
The news comes a day after the Smoking Gun website uncovered legal documents that confirm Staub was involved in a kidnapping plot that grew out of a botched cocaine deal and worked for an escort service. (Despite the papers, Staub tells Us that only the facts that she was arrested and changed her name are true.)
